Gizmo

-Gizmo Project is closely tied to ((SIPphone)) and VOIP vendor. It is a (VOIP+Phones#id469639 VOIP soft phone)), that while hard wired to SIPPhone does peer with other VOIP providers and will dial directly to sip URLs. It runs native on the Mac, Linux, and Windows and has a very high quality codex.

It complies with Open Standards, directly peers with several other VOIP providers, and will directly dial sip URIs. For example if you enter: sip:613@fwd.pulver.com you can reach the echo test at free world dialup.
